Seyed Hamidreza Sadeghi born in Khonsar, Iran, completed his A.Sc., B.Sc., and M.Sc. at Giulan, Gorgan, and Tarbiat Modares Universities, Iran. He did his Ph.D. in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering at G.B. Pant University, India, 2000. He was also granted a post-doctoral by the Matsumae International Foundation (MIF) at Kyoto University, Japan, 2006. He has contributed to 21 books, 171 papers in ISI journals, 258 papers in ISC journals, and 382 gatherings. He supervised or co-supervised more than 115 M.Sc. and Ph.D. students. Prof. Sadeghi has been evaluated as a distinguished professor in Iran. Professor Sadeghi rolled as the president of the Watershed Management Society of Iran, and deputy president of the World Association of Soil and Water Conservation (WASWAC). He also is a reviewer for more than 108, Editor-in-Chief of ECOPERSIA, Associate Editor of the International Journal of Soil and Water Conservation Research (IJSWCR), Journal of Agricultural Science and Technology (JAST), and Land Degradation and Development (LDD), Managing Editor of three journals. He had a sabbatical leave in 2017 to Texas A&M University in the USA. He is also a member of the Academy of Science of Iran. He is presently a professor at Tarbiat Modares University, Iran and jointly serves as an invited professor at University of Pavia, Italy.
