The 1st field Trip
The research base of Shenyang Agricultural University is located at the main campus of the university, situated at the southern foot of Tianzhu Mountain in the eastern suburbs of Shenyang City. It is adjacent to Qingfu Tomb to the east and connected to the downtown area of Shenyang to the west, covering an area of over 2000 acres. The base includes dry fields, paddy fields, mulberry forests, orchards, reservoirs, and botanical gardens, with extremely abundant natural ecological resources. The comprehensive experimental base of the College of Water Conservancy occupies 300 acres, with a research experimental building covering an area of about 500 m2, a soil composite erosion hall of 300 m2, and a water and sediment dynamics laboratory of 100 m2. This base serves as the southern demonstration area for the comprehensive management of soil erosion in the black soil region under the Songliao River Basin Commission of the Ministry of Water Resources.
Shenyang Imperial Palace, also known as the Mukden Palace, is located in the Shenhe District of Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. It served as the imperial palace during the early Qing Dynasty and is one of the only two remaining imperial palace complexes in China. Classified as a national 4A-level tourist attraction, it is situated 4 kilometers away from the city center, with an admission fee of 50 CNY.
The 2nd field Trip
Panjin Red Beach is located in the southwest of Liaoning Province, within Panjin City, and is known as the unique "World's Red Coastline." It is characterized by the rare red beach, supported by the world's most well-preserved and largest wetland resources, set against the backdrop of the world's largest reed marshes. Together with tens of thousands of rare waterfowl and the vast expanse of shallow sea flats, it forms an ecological scenic corridor. It is situated 180 kilometers away from Shenyang City.
